A Christmas Meme

I received this from a friend by email and thought it would be fun to post and read all of your responses. So if you play along, let me know so I can read your answers.

Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends and family. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy (not forward) this entire email and paste into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all the answers so that they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person that sent it to you......Tis the Season to be NICE! HO HO HO

Some of you are very rushed this time of year so if you do not respond I certainly understand, but thought some might think it was fun...>

You obviously enjoy Christmas! I enjoyed it more, when my children were young. It's not so much fun, now that there are no young children and my parents are unable to travel. (We visit them, but after Christmas lunch.)

I love Christmas carols and songs. It's always the best part of Christmas, for me.

Love your list! I'm with you on 99%, but c'mon, you gotta go for the real tree! There's nothing like that smell! Of course I do live where Christmas trees are a local crop, so it's easy/cheap for us.

Enjoyed reading your answers.
Christmas is a time for children, isn't it?
My granddaughters will be away in Japan this Christmas & New Year. The older grandsons will be here though. So I will make a bit of an effort for them!
We'll all go to Church in the morning and we will have an evening meal. Chicken not turkey, cos that is what they like.
We have an artificial silver tree (groans from everyone) but I like it! We have coloured lights and a candle arch. Send lots of cards. After new Year I am sick of everything & take the decorations down before school reopens.

I was with you up until you got to the eggnog and dinner. Primerib?? LOL! That's a first for me. Of course down here traditionally the ONLY time you eat turkey and dressing is at Christmas and Thanksgiving so you have to get your fill then if you love it as much as I do. I can get primerib anytime!
